Our Consulting Approach: Three Perspectives
What sets us apart from traditional IT consultancies?
danorama consulting stands for a holistic, interdisciplinary consulting approach. We advise companies on the initialization and implementation of major IT projects, but we don’t see ourselves as traditional technology consultants. We see ourselves as technically versed generalists, focused on the overall success of IT initiatives.
Technology projects don’t exist in a vacuum and rarely fail due to technology.
Accordingly, we have three perspectives firmly embedded in our DNA.
Strategic perspective
Initiatives that operate in a vacuum, are strategically poorly prepared and accompanied, are doomed to fail from the very beginning.
As analytical strategists, we particularly support the fundamental development of complex topics, establishing connections, operationalizing abstract corporate goals (for the IT organization), and deriving concrete projects from initial ideas while maintaining focus on the big picture during planning and implementation.
It’s important to ask questions, even uncomfortable ones, define necessary framework conditions, and thoroughly prepare key decisions.
Psychological perspective
The success of an initiative crucially depends on the collaboration and atmosphere between the responsible actors, the connection to close stakeholders, and employees affected by the initiative.
Through the lens of an empathetic psychologist, we put people at the center, try to perceive the dynamics and emotions within the project team and address them if necessary, reduce fears, build trust, and shape change together with those affected.
Technical perspective
While tech initiatives rarely fail due to technology itself, of course initiatives fail because of a problematic technology selection or usage.
As pragmatic engineers we support organizations keeping in mind the concrete demands and feasibility, and to make efficient and goal-oriented technology decisions.
